Build A Word Lite
Build A Word Lite is the FREE version of WordWorld's application.
It's time to Build A Word! Shake up this "Word Builder" and watch letters float across the screen. Place letters in the outline provided and build a word one letter at a time. By pushing letters together, words will magically "morph" into WordFriends! This Lite version stars DOG. Ten WordFriends can be morphed in the full Build A Word application available for $2.99 -- DOG, DUCK, PIG, ANT, FROG, SHEEP, BUG, COW, CAT, and BEE come to life and engage children to spell and read.
This application is based on the PBS Kids Emmy Award-winning television show. WordWorld has been demonstrated by a Department of Education funded study to improve early literacy skills, including: print awareness, letter knowledge and comprehension.
